Full-time 4-year B.E/B.Tech in respective discipline with minimum 60% marks (First Class) from AICTE-approved institutes.
Qualification: First class with minimum 60% marks is relaxed to 2nd class with 50% marks (aggregate) for SC/ST candidates subject to availability of such reserved posts.
Final year students can apply but must produce proof of required qualifications during document verification.

ECIL follows a 2-stage selection process:
Type: Objective MCQs
Duration: 120 minutes
Total Questions: 100
Marking Scheme: +1 for correct, -0.25 for incorrect
Medium: English & Hindi
Exam Cities: Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata
Shortlisted candidates (1:4 ratio) from CBT will be called to Hyderabad for the Interview.
Final Merit = 85% CBT + 15% Interview
Minimum qualifying marks: 50% in each stage and 60% overall (Relaxation for SC/ST).
