Office of Director General of Police, Government of Goa has invited applications for direct recruitment of eligible candidates to the above mentioned posts.

Age Limit: 

  • Police Sub Inspector: 20 to 28 years
  • Police Constable: 18 to 28 years
  • Searcher: Not exceeding 45 years
  • Assistant Sub Inspector- Wireless Operator : Not more than 45 years
  • Photographer, Lab Technician: Not exceeding 45 years
  • Police Constable (Bandman): Not exceeding 45 years
  • Police Constable (Mast Luskar): 18 to 22 years
  • Police Constable (Wireless Messenger): Not exceeding 45 years
  • Stenographer: Not exceeding 45 years
  • Lower Division Clerk: Not exceeding 45 years

*Age relaxation is applicable as per the notified rules


  • Police Sub Inspector: Degree or Higher Secondary School Certificate Exam (10+2) Pass. 3 years Diploma in Security and Investigation Technology.
  • Police Constable: Secondary School Certificate Exam(10th Pass) or equivalent qualification.
  • Searcher: Any Degree.
  • Assistant Sub Inspector (Wireless Operator): SSC or equivalent. Diploma in Electronics.
  • Photographer: Diploma in Photography OR Certificate course in Composite Course in Reproduction Photography, Plate Making and Offset Printing
  • Laboratory Technician: Bachelor's Degree in Science with at least 2nd class.
  • Stenographer: Higher Secondary School Certificate/ AICTE approved Diploma + Should be computer literate.
  • Lower Division Clerk: Possessing Higher Secondary School Certificate or AICTE approved Diploma + Knowledge of Computer Applications or Operations with typing speed of 30 words/min in English.

Application Procedure: The candidates possessing the above mentioned qualifications/documents as on 30/04/2021 and possessing 15 years Residence certificate(Valid) issued by the Competent Authority, Government of Goa, may submit their Application in the prescribed Application form at the counter opened to accept the application forms at the Police Headquarters, Panaji- Goa. The prescribed application forms are available at the Administrative Block, GRP Camp, Altinho, Panaji- Goa which can be collected between 10:00 hours to 17:00 hours on all working days by producing the Caste/Category Certificate.
