·         Mathematics: Number systems, BODMAS, Decimals, Fractions, LCM and HCF, Ratio and Proportion, Percentages, Mensuration, Time and Work, Time and Distance, Simple and Compound Interest, Profit and Loss, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Elementary Statistics, Square Root, Age Calculations, Calendar & Clock, Pipes & Cistern.

·         General Intelligence and Reasoning: Analogies, Alphabetical and Number Series, Coding and Decoding, Mathematical operations, Relationships, Syllogism, Jumbling, Venn Diagram, Data Interpretation and Sufficiency, Conclusions and Decision Making, Similarities and Differences, Analytical reasoning, Classification, Directions, Statement – Arguments and Assumptions etc.

·         General Awareness: Current affairs, Indian geography, culture and history of India including freedom struggle, Indian Polity and Constitution, Indian Economy, Environmental issues concerning India and the World, Sports, General scientific and technological developments.

·         General Science: Physics, Chemistry and Life Sciences (up to 10th Standard CBSE syllabus).

·         Basica of Computers: Computer architecture, storage devices, input and output devices, networking, OS (Windows, Unix, Linux), MS Office, internet and email.

·         Environment and Pollution Control: Basics of environment, pollution, waste management, global warming, ozone depletion, acid rain.

·  Important Points: There is negative marking in both CBT 1 and CBT 2.

 

RRB ALP (Assistant Loco Pilot) Exam

·         Purpose: To recruit candidates for the post of Assistant Loco Pilot, who assist the Loco Pilot in operating trains.
·         Eligibility: Typically, candidates need to have completed Matriculation/SSLC along with an ITI certificate in specified trades, or a Diploma in relevant engineering disciplines.
·         Selection Process:

o    CBT 1 (Computer Based Test - Stage 1)

o    CBT 2 (Computer Based Test - Stage 2)

o    CBAT (Computer Based Aptitude Test) - For ALP post only

o    Document Verification
